CSR [Privacy Policy]
NIDEC Nissin Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “the company”) recognizes the importance of protection of personal information. The company provides its basic approach to privacy as follows to meet the trust placed on us by each and every person who submits their personal information to the company, thus performing its social responsibilities.
1.Compliance with laws and regulations
The company will abide by laws, regulations and other pertinent rules to properly handle personal information.
2.Acquisition of personal information
The company will acquire personal information in fair and lawful manners. When acquiring such information, the company will notify the person concerned about the purpose of acquisition or publicly announce it beforehand.
3.Use of personal information
The company will use personal information acquired in accordance with the intended purpose indicated upon acquisition of said information and within the limits reasonably related to the purpose. In the event personal information acquired needs to be handled by a third party on commission, the company will supervise the commissioned party for proper use of information.
4.Supply of information to third parties
Unless there are rightful reasons such as cases required by law, the company will not disclose or present information obtained to third parties without agreement of the person concerned.
5.Disclosure, correction, suspension of use and deletion of personal information
The company will respond properly to the person concerned in question if he/she requests the company to disclose, correct, suspend the use of, or delete his/her personal information held by the company after confirming that he/she has the right to do so.
6.Management of personal information safety
From both ICT technology and management organization viewpoints, the company will take proper safety management measures to keep acquired personal information accurate and updated. The company will also take proper action to prevent unauthorized computer access, loss, destruction, alteration and leakage of personal information held.
7.Ongoing improvement of Compliance Program
The company will make all Board members and employees recognize the importance of personal information protection. For the purpose of properly protecting personal information, the company will formulate, implement, maintain and improve on an ongoing basis a Compliance Program (including the main policy, rules for the protection of personal information and other compliance-related regulations).
